60-second payment check
Do not pay until these six answers are clear
A private watch party can be a good no-ticket plan, but it is a purchase decision. Check the source, venue, refund terms, payment method, ticket claim, and hotel fallback before you send money.
| Check | Question | Decision rule |
|---|---|---|
| Official source | Is this listed by FIFA, the host city, the venue, or the event organizer's official site? | If the answer is no, treat it as independent and higher risk. |
| Venue proof | Is there a named physical venue, address, date, entry time, and house policy? | Avoid vague locations, TBD venues, and private-message-only instructions. |
| Refund terms | Can you see cancellation, weather, postponement, age, minimum-spend, and capacity terms before paying? | No written refund terms means the money may be hard to recover. |
| Payment method | Can you pay through a normal card or protected checkout? | Avoid wire transfer, crypto, gift cards, friends-and-family transfer, or pressure payment. |
| Ticket claim | Does the event claim match tickets, VIP access, or guaranteed resale? | Check FIFA tickets and official hospitality before believing the claim. |
| Hotel impact | Would the hotel still work if this party is cancelled or fake? | Use refundable rooms unless the official viewing plan is strong enough. |
